Amanda Jayne is a singer-songwriter from Long Island, NY. With upbeat acoustic melodies, catchy hooks, and clever lyrics, her music will keep you entertained as well as emotionally invested.
Jayne learned how to play the guitar and began writing songs at the age of 12. In 2015, she released a single entitled “One” along with a music video which she conceptualized and helped direct. Her debut full-length record Strike a Match became available in April of 2016, which she wrote and co-produced. Strike a Match is a 9-track concept album with a cyclical theme of love and loss, all of the songs drawing from real-life experiences. She strives to connect with her listeners by being honest in her music.
Jayne’s music is influenced by a variety of artists including Taylor Swift and Jojo. Her performance style draws from the high energy of Kimbra and Maroon 5. Jayne has played her original music and covers in many venues across the tri-state.
Currently, Amanda Jayne is in the midst of writing/recording new songs and advancing her musicianship. She works hard to balance her studies at Stony Brook University (class of 2018) with her budding music career.
